Using Free Reports
Is it safe to assume that since you are here reading this IMA Page, that you have a sincere interest in promoting some product or service online?
It should be obvious that the ONLY way you're going to accomplish that goal, is to get a message across to someone who has a need or desire for what you have to offer, right?
That message can be one you created yourself, or one that was handed to you by someone you are selling in behalf of, but the bottom line is, it will be worthless unless someone else truly absorbs enough of it to take some desired action you have planned for them.
The most common ways to attempt to get your message across online are a web page, email, or a digital product they download. A Free Report or eBook are examples of what I mean by a digital product.
If they get an email from you, this is one of the easiest methods to dismiss and most often that's exactly what happens. Your message has to compete with so many others that have very little value, that unless you really touch a hot button from the headline on, it goes in the trash after a quick scan at best.
A web page today is not that much better. Sure they may even bookmark it for later, but then they would have to find it in what probably looks like the index to the Library of Congress. Most web pages that people come across online are quickly dismissed if they don't take immediate action and that seldom happens. After all, they see hundreds (or even thousands) every day and can't act on all of them.
But a special report on a subject they are even somewhat interested in can be saved to their desktop and opened over and over until they decide. At least until everyone starts using these, they even have a distinct advantage by being perceived as having a higher value.
You also have all your images and formatting preserved, so they see the message as you intended. Email clients and web browsers often leave out or distort what you originally created if the recipient has some setting changed to suit themselves. Another valuable benefit is they can't be easily altered like a web page or email can, to allow someone else to take advantage of all your creative work by changing lnks and using them for their own purpose. That is unless you want them to and send them the source document.
The fact often overlooked is these special reports are free to create on any computer in a universal Portable Document Format (PDF) with Open Office Suite. You can download a free version for your computer at openoffice.org.
Now you are free to use your own story and screen images that reinforce your message in a custom document you can offer for download. There are scores of places online you can store these free to make them accessible to anyone you send there. Just do a Google search for free storage. Of course if you have your own web hosting, you can give them a link like http://adcashgenerator.info/moneytrain.pdf
The advantage of having your own domain name is that it carries more credibility than a service link and is more likely not to have problems caused by overcrowding. I use a service that costs me $1 a month and I registered the domain name with GoDaddy on sale for 99 cents a year, so it's not expensive.
I hope this page has helped you see the value of using special reports. I know they have made a huge difference in my own success.
See you online,
