About Me
Part-time Latin tutor, artist and writer puttering away at a PhD in mythology and depth psychology.

My lenses reflect my eclectic interests -- classical studies and mythology, art history, web design, teaching and humor, writing, and thoughtful ways to help the environment and the world. Oh yes, and baseball. Don't get me started on baseball.

My main lens, Ancient Greece Odyssey, traces my own journey through Greece after many years studying its ancient art, literature, myths and gods.

I create my lenses for several reasons -- to share my passions, to
teach, and to help pay for books and cat food. (The cat's name is Samhain... give yourself a pat on the back if you know what it means without googling it!) So you will notice occasional ads for t-shirts and other products being sold through CafePress. The designs are mine, using my own artwork and photos; I earn 1-3 dollars commission from each item sold.

Besides teaching, I hope to apply my talents and knowlege to video game design -- which is a modern vehicle for mythology these days, and could be a new road to learning!
